If you already have a Level 2 equivalent qualification, you may still be able to do a second NVQ Level 2 free of charge and if you are under 25 years old, you may be able to do your first NVQ Level 3 free of charge.

FULLY FUNDED NVQs

Part of the Train to Gain service includes the delivery of FULLY FUNDED NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualifications.

Train to Gain:
• applies to all companies regardless of number of employees
• applies to all employees age 19 or over (depending on eligibility criteria being met)
• provides a wage subsidy for small companies with less than 250 employees, providing you release employees from work to undertake training
• provides fully funded training to NVQ Level 2 or 3 in all subjects, many of which can be delivered by Wakefield College
• delivers training in the workplace, at a time to suit the employer and the employee
