NEBOSH

NEBOSH General Certificate
The programme is suitable for managers, supervisors, employee representatives and others wishing to gain knowledge in Occupational Health and Safety. The NEBOSH General Certificate is to provide delegates with a broad understanding of occupational health and safety and its implications for their own organisations.



IOSH

IOSH Managing Safely
This course is appropriate for anyone who has to manage risk and resources within their organisation. The course will ensure that safety requirements are appreciated by people employed as line managers, and to enable them to review their own departmental systems for safety, introducing new controls or implementing changes as appropriate to ensure safety in the work place.


CIEH Principles of Manual Handling
The principles of Manual Handling is a stand alone Level 1 qualification which complements the CIEH Health & Safety programme. It is aimed at those who carry out manual handling activities at work and introduces the learner to the hazards of manual handling, the risks involved and controls available, and what to expect from a manual handling assessment.

CIEH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace
The training programme has been designed to provide knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety for employees working in any sector of business, whether manufacturing, commerce, public sector or the service industries. Good Health and Safety standards rely on employees working together to reduce accidents and ill-health arising from work activities.

CIEH COSHH
The Principles of COSHH is a stand alone Level 1 qualification which complements the CIEH Health & Safety programme. Its is aimed at those who use substances hazardous to health at work and introduces students to the hazards associated with those substances, the risks and controls available, and what to expect from COSHH assessment.

CIEH Certificate in Risk Assessment Principles and Practice Level 2
The course is designed to raise employees awareness of the concept of Risk Assessment, and to give them the ability to effectivley contribute to that process.

CIEH Certificate in Risk Assessment Principles and Practice Level 3
The programme is designed for anyone with a responsibility to conduct risk assessments. It is particularly useful for managers and supervisors, but it will be equally beneficial to individual workers, team leaders, technicians, engineers or any other personnel contributing to the risk assessment process.

NCFE Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
This course is appropriate for anyone who is interested in maintaining health and safety in the workplace or anyone interested in initial training in workplace health and safety.

Nationally Accredited Safety Passport
The Nationally Accredited Safety Passport two-day training programme consists of 4 sessions. In the early 1990's a consortium of major industrialists from the power generation, steel, oil, gas and chemical industries recognised the need to train their contractors in basic safety. In order to gain standards, two groups, in the North East and in West Wales, working in co-operation, set out to standardise their basic safety training and devised a core curriculum which became the foundation of the original Safety Passport.

NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Health and Safety
The NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Health & Safety is designed for candidates who are not health, safety and environmental professionals but who are in involved in health and safety in their workplace.

Abrasive Wheels Regulations
This course is a must for anyone requiring knowledge of using and maintaining grinding wheels.
