- Leave the M62 at Junction 32.
- Take Castleford/Glasshoughton and turn left following Xscape and Freeport signs.
- Follow these signs and you will enter onto Colorado Way; you should approach a roundabout with a McDonalds and B&Q on the left hand side. Stay in the left lane.
- At this roundabout, take the third exit, (which is effectively straight on), and you go past the side of the Xscape building on your right hand side and Glasshoughton Train Station on your left.
- The road arches around the back of Xscape; take first left onto Thunderhead Ridge at the roundabout and continue 200 metres to the Castleford Campus entrance.

This is a facility of which the Wakefield District can be proud. It serves learners right across the District and beyond, and is an integral part of Wakefield’s regeneration.

Located at Junction 32 of the M62 in West Yorkshire between Castleford and Pontefract, the Castleford Campus neighbours the Xscape complex with its popular indoor ski slope and 14-screen cinema and the Junction 32 Outlet Village.

The Castleford Campus was opened in March 2009 and is the most impressive of the three centres. Iconic, modern and full of the latest equipment, facilities and resources, it boasts a state-of-the-art learning resource centre, equipped with the very latest in technology, is a superb place for individual study, or to relax and use the internet. The Centre overlooks the large external courtyard.
