Do you want to change your career or improve your skills at work? We have a selection of different levels of courses in manual book-keeping and accounts, computerised accounts using Sage, and payroll.
AAT
Topics include all aspects of accounting, including money, accounting, finance, payroll, auditing, book keeping, double entry and help towards completing annual reports.

Some of these courses will provide progression routes to Accounts A level and AAT.
Courses Available
Manual Book-keeping and Accounts - Level 1
An introductory course for learners who are looking to acquire basic book-keeping techniques. This course will appeal to people who are running their own small business or someone setting off in a career in accountancy.

Manual Book-keeping and Accounts - Level 2
A progression course from Level 1 for people who are self employed to help them maintain accurate business records. This course will also benefit those who are working in a role which requires accountancy and book-keeping skills.

Computerised Accounts - SAGE Level 1
This course is aimed at the person seeking a first qualification in the practical use of computerised accounts. Potential candidates should have an adequate understanding of the terms used in basic book-keeping.

Computerised Accounts - SAGE Level 2
This course is aimed at the person seeking certification of a broad experience in using computerised accounts software and widening his/her competence. It is targeted at the person who wishes to complement the study of Book-keeping and Accounts Level 2 and aspires to enter employment in a computerised accounts environment.

Computerised Accounts - SAGE Level 3
This comprehensive course is for learners who want to study how records are kept for the financial affairs of a company. The course is for skilled and experienced users with a solid understanding of manual book-keeping and accounting principles, as well as a working knowledge of computerised accounts.

SAGE Accounts
This course will introduce you to SAGE Accounts. It is aimed at the person seeking a first qualification in the practical use of computerised accounts. Potential candidates should have an adequate understanding of the terms used in basic book-keeping.

SAGE Further Accounts and Stock Control
This course will introduce you to SAGE Further Accounts and Stock Control. Potential candidates should have an adequate understanding of the terms used in book-keeping.

SAGE Payroll
This course will introduce you to SAGE Further Accounts and Stock Control. Potential candidates should have an adequate understanding of the terms used in book-keeping.

Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT)
The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) was formed in 1980 to provide a recognised qualification and a membership body for accounting support staff.

Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply - Graduate Diploma
The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) is the professional body representing those engaged in the purchasing and supply function in industry and the public service. The award of Institute membership is the hallmark of the professionally qualified in purchasing and supply. It is increasingly being demanded by employers as a key to appointment and promotion.

Payroll Administration
Calling all accounting support staff! If you are currently employed in payroll and want to obtain a recognised qualification accredited by the Association of Accounting Technicians, this course is for you.
Apprenticeships
Accounts NVQ Levels 2 and 3
Thought about an apprenticeship in accounts? Ideal for 16-24 year olds.
