The College has offered the NVQ Level 3 in Oral Health Care (Dental Nursing) for Dental Nurses for a number of years with success rates every year of 80-90%.

All our assessors and tutors are qualified dental nurses with recent practice, working in dentist surgeries, so fully understand the demands of the role of dental nurse.

The College has such a reputation for training that we now take NVQ candidates from across the whole of Yorkshire.
Compulsory GDC Registration
Compulsory General Dental Council registration for dental nurses and dental technicians comes into effect on 31 July 2008. Therefore, from this date, every dental nurse or dental technician in the UK must be registered with the General Dental Council.

Our team of qualified assessors provide guidance for the whole dental team and can help with the compliance of the continued professional development obligations required.
Flexibility
The flexibility of how we deliver training is one of our major strengths. It can be delivered on your dental premises, or tuition can be accessed through our distance learning packages. Our dedicated team can discuss how both of these methods operate and which of the methods is preferable to you and your practice needs.
