General Logistics Courses
NVQ in Logistics - Traffic Office
This NVQ enables those working in a traffic office of a haulage company to demonstrate their skills and knowledge against the standard expected of the logistics and haulage industry. It will also enable the candidate to broaden their knowledge of related haulage topics.

NVQ in Logistics - Driving Goods Vehicles Levels 2 and 3
This NVQ enables those working as drivers of commercial vehicles to demonstrate a level of competence in order to conduct their role effectively. They will be required to demonstrate their skills and knowledge against the standard expected of the logistics and haulage industry. It will also enable the candidate to broaden their knowledge of related haulage topics and help to prepare them for the new Drivers CPC.

Logistics Operations Management - NVQ Level 3
This qualification is designed for employees working in roles such as warehouse or logistics manager. The units include health and safety in the workplace, the ability to work effectively with colleagues and obtaining information on goods and modes of transport. They also cover the technical competences required to arrange the international transport of goods along with associated documentation.

C&G Driving Goods Vehicles Technical Certificate
This vocationally related qualification has been designed by City & Guilds to support Government initiatives towards the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). This qualification does not infer occupational competence.

Foundation Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
This course is one of a range of Business and Management courses offered by the school of Professional studies which is a Centre of Vocational Excellence (COVE) for Enterprise Management.

Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply - Graduate Diploma
The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) is the professional body representing those engaged in the purchasing and supply function in industry and the public service. The award of Institute membership is the hallmark of the professionally qualified in purchasing and supply. It is increasingly being demanded by employers as a key to appointment and promotion.

Foundation Degree in Retail, Logistics or Business
This course is designed for people employed in supervisory roles or wishing to progress to supervisory positions in the retail, logistics or business industries. There is a large element of work-related learning incorporated into this course allowing the learner to apply the theory learnt in class to practical situations.
