Ideal for those managers who wish to develop higher level skills and be nationally recognised by the Chartered Management Institute at Member level.

The course focuses on learning based around knowledge inputs linked to group activities, case studies and organisational visits.

Participants will:

- Develop management and leadership roles
- Analyse management information systems
- Manage business challenges
- Assess the management of operations
- Understand financial and resource management
- Develop and implement human resource plans
- Develop and implement marketing planning
- Evaluate performance management
- Build project development skills

There are 20 places per course.

Length of course: One year, w/c 21st January 2008.

Fee: £1725, which includes registration with the Chartered Management Institute and the extended learning experience.

Sessions take place at our Thornes Park Campus, located 5 minutes from Wakefield City Centre. Free parking available.

Further Study: Successful candidates can progress to the second year of the MBA at The University of Huddersfield.
