Services to Business is the department within Wakefield College that focuses on the training needs of companies.

We have a varied range of courses that are designed to meet the needs of businesses.

Over a century of experience enables us to provide excellent business training solutions, employee training, staff development and training in West Yorkshire.

We are proud of being acknowledged as one of the top training providers in the UK, having received the Training Quality Standard.

With cost-effective training which fits around the working day as our goal, we provide easy access to training services and business support that can make a real difference to your bottom line, be it for trainees or new employees through to supervisor training and top management.

We can tailor courses to meet your needs and often deliver them at your premises at a time and date to suit.

We can also offer routes to apprenticeships and are one of the largest providers of NVQs in West Yorkshire.

We provide a wide range of flexible business services, offering excellent scheduled and customised courses, working around your goals. We also offer business development coaching. What many people often don’t realise is that at Services to Business we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing training and assessment at a time and place to suit the individual needs of employers and learners.

We can also build bespoke courses to match the needs of your staff, making sure that they receive the training that is required to improve your business whilst building your team.

The Enhancement Fund, Train to Gain and the Rapid Response To Redundancy Fund can help organisations by providing support (often financial) to improve staff and develop their business in the current economic climate.
